WWE Reveals First-Round SmackDown Matches For Queen Of The Ring Tournament

WWE has confirmed the initial matchups for the Queen of the Ring competition on SmackDown. The tournament is part of the larger King & Queen of the Ring event in 2024, with the grand finals set to happen in Saudi Arabia on May 25.

The tournament proceedings kicked off with the latest “WWE Raw” episode on May 6. GUNTHER, Ilja Dragunov, and Jey Uso emerged victorious in the King of the Ring contest, while Zoey Stark, Lyra Valkyria, and IYO Sky secured spots in the Queen’s quarter-finals.

On the upcoming May 10 episode of “WWE SmackDown,” AJ Styles will go head-to-head with Randy Orton in a first-round showdown, and Tama Tonga will have his debut singles match against Angelo Dawkins. In the women’s division, Naomi will battle Nia Jax, with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair also entering the fray.

The initial round of both tournaments will wrap up at the WWE Supershow events on May 11 and May 12. The quarter-finals are scheduled for the May 13 episode of “WWE Raw” and the May 17 episode of “WWE SmackDown,” followed by what is likely to be the semi-finals. The King & Queen of the Ring competition will reach its peak at the event in Saudi Arabia.
