Atlantis Jr. achieved victory at the latest CMLL show by capturing the ROH World Television Championship by defeating Kyle Fletcher. The joint effort between CMLL and AEW/ROH resulted in Atlantis Jr. winning in an exciting match.
Following his win, Fletcher displayed good sportsmanship by shaking hands with Atlantis Jr. and challenging him to a rematch in Fletcher’s territory. Fletcher had previously attained the ROH World Television Championship in a challenging Survival of the Fittest match at ROH Final Battle 2023, retaining the title for 191 days.
As the son of the famed Atlantis, Atlantis Jr. continues the family tradition with his own set of accomplishments, which include holding the CMLL World Trios Championship. The event on June 28 also featured a surprise cameo by AEW star Chris Jericho.
